Heathen manifesto
As atheist ways of life go, I find Julian Baggini’s Heathen Manifesto in the Guardian a pretty good framework. I particularly like his acceptance of science whilst dismissing scientism.
If the core of heathenism is a form of secularism that rejects religious dogma and fundamentalism as well as scientistic dogma and fundamentalism, then i reckon i could hang with the heathens.
I also have a hankering for running around the hills in blue woad too.
